Support groups help people find personal solutions to difficulties whilst benefiting from the collective emotional and practical support of others who are addressing alcohol related problems.

Groupwork helps people to bond together to obtain a greater understanding of why alcohol affects us the way it does. Through understanding comes empowerment and the ability to regain and maintain control of our lives.

Support groups are especially beneificial for individuals maintaining changes made to their drinking and in need of guidance for relapse prevention and for coping with the stresses and drinking 'trigger' situations that life brings.
